Running

1. fone: set cell fone to "discoverable"
2. desktop: plug in usb bt dongle

3. desktop: left-click on gnome's bluetooth icon. "setup new device" -> "forward". choose fone from list "found" devices

4. fone: accept pairing request, enter pin from desktop

5. desktop: unmute microphone w/ /usr/bin/gnome-volume-control --page recording

6. hfpd/hfpd

7. ./data/hfconsole

8. fone: set cell fone to "discoverable"
9. in hfconsole, press "refresh" button
10. select fone from list and click the "add" button
11. wait?
12. fone: accept pairing request

thinkpad x41 tablet microphone doesnt seem to be working w/ alsa(ARGH)+nohands

Sound pain

HFPD: **** ALSA playback xrun ****
HFPD: ALSA playback: snd_pcm_delay: Input/output error

Gripes

• "net.sf.nohands.hfpd.Error.BtServiceConflict: Another service has claimed your system's Bluetooth audio socket." <- solved by killing hfpd

• hfpd "disconnects" (crashes?) when running audio feedback tests w/ hfconsole
• autogen.sh is undocumented
• no tarball on homepage
